Financial Administrator Intern – Fall 2023

Investigate. Analyze. Resolve. Achieve.

As a financial administrator intern at Gallup, you are more than an intern. You are a valued member of our team, our culture and the impact we make on the world. You will help the Finance and Accounting department serve clients and internal partners using your expertise and commitment to accuracy.

In this role, you will work with your partners to accurately and systematically enter sales agreements and registrations in accordance with client contracts for organizations worldwide. Your contract compliance, project analysis and relationship-building skills will ensure clarity for clients. You will work closely with our teams to provide product expertise when quickly guiding clients through any order or contract changes.

This is an exciting opportunity to build relationships with external and internal partners to ensure alignment with client expectations. Moving from one task to the next with precision and direction, you will manage your timeline to exceed client expectations and deadlines.

From customer support to ensuring best practices for contract compliance, you will have an integral part in maintaining Gallup’s reputation for service and integrity.

Who we want:

  • Detail-oriented analysts with an eye for the smallest details and a talent for flawless execution using superior organizational skills to meet every deadline
  • High-achieving problem-solvers who love working with numbers, finding solutions and thinking critically to execute a high volume of work
  • Sophisticated communicators who bring professionalism, credibility and engagement to every interaction and can translate technical terminology into easy-to-understand language for clients
  • Team players who excel at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and pitch in without hesitation to help the team reach its goals
  • Technically curious learners who constantly seek new information to prepare for software enhancements and operational process changes that adapt to customers’ needs

What you need:

  • Current enrollment in an associate, undergraduate or graduate program with at least 30 college credit hours and enrollment for the fall semester at a higher education institution
  • Must live within a 60-mile radius of Omaha, Nebraska, to attend meetings and training sessions
  • Availability to work 20 to 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule you can arrange with your manager that can include day, night and weekend hours tailored to your busy life
  • Proficiency in Excel preferred
  • Eligibility to work in the United States required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship

What we offer:
We create exceptional workplaces, starting with our own. We focus on developing your strengths — what you do right, rather than what you do wrong — and helping you be engaged at work. When you work at Gallup, you’ll benefit from:

  • A full-time paid internship that starts immediately with the potential to work 20 to 35 hours per week during school with proven performance
  • A hybrid work setting that allows you to work on-site and from home; you’ll work with your manager to configure what’s best for you and your team
  • A potential full-time job offer upon graduation
  • A strengths-based, engagement-focused and performance-oriented culture
  • A diverse and inclusive workplace culture that is committed to fostering belonging and wellbeing
  • World-class managers who support, develop, empower and engage you
  • Ongoing learning and development opportunities and purposeful career growth tailored to your unique talents
  • Mission-driven work that changes the lives of people around the world
  • A robust benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance options, a 401(k) retirement and savings plan with company matching, an employee stock ownership program, and more
  • An on-site cafeteria, fitness center, federal credit union and state-of-the-art child development center, all on a beautiful downtown Omaha campus along the Missouri River

And the perks don’t stop there. Learn more about life at Gallup.
