Support Clinical Operations from a financial point-of-view with accurate analyses, effective reporting, and financial processes such as budgeting and forecasting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Developing departmental budgets according to specifications along with appropriate variances analyses
  • Analyzing variances to standard
  • Analyzing historical trends
  • Developing forecasting models
  • Preparing the Monthly Operating Report for executive management
  • Developing business plans for new ventures, partnerships, and other business relationships
  • Interpreting contract language and building associated financial models
  • Completing financial analyses that accurately reflect business health
  • Designing reports that communicate performance, identify issues, and contribute to better management decisions
  • Developing profitability analyses for business segments, studies, sponsors, lines of business, etc.
  • Monitoring performance to metrics and explaining variances
  • Analyzing staffing requirements based on activity drivers, monitoring trends, tracking variances, and developing projections
  • Participating in process improvement initiatives inside the department as well as cross-functionally
  • Extracting appropriate data from supporting systems and preparing ad hoc analyses and reports

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ years as a Financial Analyst, preferably in clinical research or healthcare
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

**You must be located in Central Time and willing to come on-site in Nashville 1-2 times per month.**
