Financial Analyst

Celigo is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our growing Financial Planning and Analysis team. This role will serve as the FP&A partner to our department leaders. You will be a part of the team that focuses on budgeting, forecasting and reporting in a fast paced environment. You will partner with leaders across the company. In this role, you will have a direct impact on making decisions through reporting and data analysis.

The role is ideally located in Redwood City, California but qualified remote candidates will be considered.

What would you do, if hired?

• Participate in the development of the annual business plan and forecast which includes partnering with departmental heads and distribution of the approved budget packages
• Create, track, analyze and report on key SaaS business metrics to drive strategic business decisions for executives
• Partner with Operations and Accounting during month-end close to ensure accuracy in financial results
• Drive and manage monthly P&L forecasting process with a focus on accuracy and providing insights related to risks and opportunities
• Prepare monthly financial review packages for business partners in order to review expenses, discuss variances and update forecasts
• Identify and implement processes for improvement across FP&A
• Build critical Executive and Board of Directors materials on business performance and strategic business decisions
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and communicate and present results of analysis across various levels of management

Who are we looking for?

• B.S. or B.A. in accounting, finance, math, economics, business, engineering or other technical field required; advanced degrees.
• Minimum 2+ years professional work experience in corporate finance (specifically FP&A), accounting, investment banking, and/or consulting.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling experience required.
• Prior experience working with NetSuite and financial planning software like Anaplan, Adaptive Insights preferred
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and SaaS finance and other such financial concepts
• Adaptable and able to react quickly to changing business needs.
• Excellent analytical, project management, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Extremely detail oriented with an ability to multitask in a high growth environment.
• Process oriented and can manage projects across departments and teams
• Prior experience building views/extracting data from Tableau (or other BI-related software

Pay Scale Information

Celigo reasonably expects to pay a base salary between$100,000 and $120,000 for this position. Actual starting base pay will be determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks as outlined in any formal employment offer made.
