Tri Pointe Homes is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic individual to join our talented group as a Financial Analyst in the Home Office.
Position Highlights: Support the Corporate Treasurer/VP Finance in conducting advanced Excel modeling, preparing monthly reports, managing off-balance sheet transactions, and overseeing cash management activities.
Position Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain advanced, complex financial models using Excel and other financial software.
- Review financial models and analysis prepared by the land teams for accuracy and compliance to the company’s underwriting guidelines used to evaluate new acquisitions.
- Prepare monthly portfolio reports reflecting treasury and finance activity.
- Perform advanced, complex financial analyses in support of organizational decision making, including but not limited to residential joint ventures, land banks, and corporate acquisitions.
- Prepare quarterly reports for senior management and joint venture partners, including updated cash flows and analysis comparing the project to the original pro forma projections.
- Other ad hoc projects as directed by the Treasurer / VP Finance.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics (Or other bachelor’s degree plus CFA Level II).Recent college graduate with 2+ Years’ experience in financial analysis, preferably real estate related
- Advanced financial modelling experience/capability.
- Competency in VBA/Macros is a plus.
- Experience in working with lenders and financial institutions a plus
- Experience in analyzing real estate project budgets a plus.
- Computer Skills: Advanced Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, ShareFile, Adobe, MicroSoft Suite
- Ability to take guidance / direction from Treasurer and Leadership Team
- Demonstrated high level of attention to detail.
- Demonstrate creative thinking ability, intellectual curiosity and highly analytical
- Desire to apply analytical skills to understand and/or tell a story
- Demonstrated self-driven initiative, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Proven team player with the ability to guide and influence cross-functional team members
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills – written, verbal and interpersonal.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: The expected base salary range for this position is between $90,600-122,800 per year, depending on experience and skillset. Base Salary is paid bi-weekly, every other Friday.
- Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual performance-based cash bonus. Bonuses are earned, calculated and paid in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Company’s applicable incentive plan document.
