Manages department administrative activities including teacher stipend payments and event budgets, recordkeeping systems, space maintenance requirements, graduate admissions and databases for the Master of Science in Teaching Program, and coordinates RiSE budget work and appointments made through Technical and Administrative Services Central (TASC) in the Office of the Vice President and Dean of the Graduate School and other campus units. Typical hiring range for this part-time position is $26,000 - $28,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience. There is the possibility for negotiation of a hybrid work schedule, with some days in the office and some working remotely.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • A BA/BS degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated abilities to exercise independent judgment and initiative and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience in successfully analyzing and interpreting financial data and preparing financial reports, statements and/or projection.
  • Exceptionally strong organizational abilities and excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
  • Skills in the use of personal computers and related software applications, including database management.
  • Demonstrated the ability to adapt, learn and problem solve in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of grant funding policies and procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Experience designing and improving systems for record keeping, data management, and reporting.
