Financial Data Analyst
Overview
This role will help consolidate financial and headcount data, own intercompany expense tracking, support forecasting and budgeting tools/models, contribute to automation projects and support ad hoc analyses for the CFO.
The ideal candidate needs to be quick on their feet and have the ability to pivot between multiple requests, meet critical deadlines, proficient in multiple automation tools (i.e., Business Intelligence software, Alteryx, VBA, Power Query, Advanced Excel, SQL), eager to learn and a team player.
Role
- Maintain and refine financial reporting models for forecasting, budgeting, and actuals.
- Become a Hyperion and Workday power user.
- Track headcount trends by initiatives to report risks and opportunities to Finance leadership.
- Complete ad hoc analyses on headcount and financial reporting for Finance leadership.
- Own the intercompany budgeting. Create best practices and enhance detailed information tracking on each entry. Coordinate and partner with internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner with global shared services analytics and automation team to help enhance our current reporting capabilities.
- Support the greater Finance team during forecasts and budgets.
All About You
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS or Data Analytics
- Prior experience in a related field
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Financial modeling
- Strong communication, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Resourceful, continuous improvement mindset and flexible
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
Additional desired skillsets
- Experience with Hyperion and Workday reporting
- Finance and/or accounting knowledge
