Summary
The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will support the organization in financial, operational, and strategic planning goals. In this position, you will exercise a wide degree of creativity and be given the latitude to complete job duties and solve problems. You will be expected to function in a consultative capacity, serving as a partner in decision-making and problem-solving by employing self-initiated and proactive assessments of leadership information needs. Coordinating with the VP of Finance, Controller, and Directors, you will mentor other Finance team members.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly forecasting process, including analysis of actual and forecast performance for the company, divisions, and business units.
  • Reviews and explains variances when comparing actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Performs trend analysis with respect to key metrics.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and presentations for the Board of Directors every quarter.
  • Perform hands-on support in relation to the planning systems design and configuration of reports and input schedules.
  • Prepares ad hoc reports and analysis as requested. Demonstrates a high level of ability and comprehensive knowledge of personal computer applications and healthcare accounting, finance, and revenue cycle.
  • Special projects will be assigned as needed.

Required Experience / Qualifications

  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.
  • 4 or more years of experience with at least 2 years of experience in a financial planning & analysis position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Must possess strong leadership skills, be highly analytical, and be forward-thinking.
  • Self-motivated and assertive with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with presentation skills and experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other applicable computer applications.
  • Able to maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive financial and operational information.


Preferences – Not Required

  • Netsuite experience
  • Healthcare domain experience.
  • Software Development industry experience.
  • CPA, CFA, CMA, or similar certifications are not required but are appreciated
