Financial Systems Analyst (Remote)

The Financial Systems Analyst is a key finance and accounting role that offers a unique opportunity to have a big impact on our organization's efficiency and growth. In this function you will play an important role in defining finance system integrations, maintain or learn the existing financial stack, and help build automations across varying applications. The Systems Analyst will have strong abilities in defining and executing proper change management and managing the setup of the changes. Additionally, the role will assist the FP&A and Accounting team members by building reports, automations, and adhering to external financial audit controls. This is a remote position and will report to the Finance Manager, Systems and Analysis. #LI-Remote; #LI-JX1

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures accuracy of change management policies
  • Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements
  • Ensures compliance with company policies or recommend new policies
  • Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow
  • Timely communicates with system user of any changes to the existing financial stack
  • Translate highly technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements
  • Manage the set-up and configuration of systems
  • Tracks custom integrations with accuracy to payroll reports
  • Provide documentation of all processes and training as needed
  • Knowledge or the accounting processes, such as, Order-to-Cash, Hire-To-Retire, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report
  • Reviews and processes new workflows in Kronos, NetSuite, Concur or amongst other applications
  • Manages and maintains data in Tableau related to Finance
  • Coordinates or assist in the design, development, implementation, and management of all changes to the payroll process
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms
  • Perform design, implementation, and upgrades of information systems to meet the business and user needs
  • Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
  • The ability to stay organized
  • Working knowledge of a wide variety of programming languages
  • Knowledge about one or two existing financial stacks (NetSuite, Kronos, Adaptive Insights, Concur Technologies) is preferred
  • Knowledge of Monday.com, Salesforce, Lucidchart is a plus
  • The ability to code in python or knowledge of ELT concepts is a plus
  • The ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities
  • Hands on experience in payroll software with working knowledge of Kronos payroll application a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology or related field and six years' working with information technologies and systems analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills
