Purpose
Contribute to the implementation, adoption, enhancement and integration of company-related platforms, tools, and projects.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Direction
- Perform work under very limited supervision requiring the need to exercise independent judgement and discretion on a regular or frequent basis.
- Position does not include direct supervisory responsibilities but will serve as a lead/resource among team of colleagues in equivalent roles to share technical proficiency, guidance, and mentorship. May occasionally assist in delegation of assignments or provide feedback to managers.
At the Operational and Company Level
- Work with key integration leaders to communicate and ensure all pertinent team members and stakeholders understand project goals, required specifications, identify/ track KPIs, and prioritize deliverables in accordance with strategic goals previously identified.
- Mentor junior level staff.
Do the Work
- Extract, analyze, and convert/integrate data from various accounting systems.
- Create data modeling tools to assist accounting department with tying data to source documents.
- Draft performance metrics.
- Identify process problems and engage the team in problem solving. Facilitate communication and resolution of problems.
- Ensure proper testing/validation of data before submittal.
- Create, record documentation for, and give management and end-user needed support on standardization and/or customized reports and ad-hoc report creation from database. Schedule running of routine reports.
- Verify accuracy of data through audits and query generation.
- Prepare ad hoc reports as requested from other departments.
- Develop user procedures, guidelines, and policies and documents the process and its results.
- Troubleshoot technical issues for end-users.
- Input data in specific databases / applications.
- Present operational models to support process improvements.
- Explain variances in key metrics to make informed recommendations.

Education, Work Experience, Licensure/Certifications, and Technical Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Sciences or Accounting preferred.
- Three to five (3-5) years of data reporting and analysis experience.
- Exposure to agile development environments. Experience working with financial systems preferred.
- Experience or exposure to spreadsheet modeling.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with AEC industry preferred.
Physical Demands and Working Environment
- Primarily indoor professional office environment which may include bright/dim light, noise, fumes, odors, and traffic.
- Mobility around an office environment.
- Frequent and prolonged use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
- Occasional lifting or carrying up to 20 pounds.
- Occasional pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds.
- Occasional reaching outward or above shoulder.
