First National Bank is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dealer Finance Associate to join our team in Lynchburg, VA.The Dealer Finance Associate is an essential member of the Dealer Finance team. This is a sales and service-oriented role that will build strong relationships and provide ongoing customer service to our dealer network. The Dealer Finance Associate will facilitate financing solutions and ensure smooth and efficient financial transactions.What will you be doing in this role?• Reviewing, evaluating, and making decisions or recommending approvals/denials of Dealer loan applications.• Working closely with the Dealer team to fund automobile applications following loan approval and providing customer service regularly to dealerships, customers and other internal departments.• Ensuring customer interactions and transactions are conducted in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements and adhering to all applicable banking regulations, compliance standards, and internal bank policies and procedures.• Staying abreast of new rules, regulations, and procedures to assist in implementation and revision of current policies and procedures. The Dealer Finance Associate has the ability to continually grow professionally at FNBRequirements:What will you need?• Associate’s degree or equivalent customer service and sales experience in the Financial Services industry. Undergraduate degree is a plus.• Minimum of two years’ related dealership sales and/or financial services or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Knowledge of basic loan procedures, loan documentation, and credit reports.• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally orally and/or in writing.• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.• Strong organizational skills with ability to function in a flexible work environment.
