Procurement Buyer

Job Description:The Procurement Buyer is responsible for purchasing goods and services for Flexential to ensure smooth operations and maintain cost effectiveness. This position ensures that purchases meet quality and cost standards while aligning with Flexential’s policies and strategic goals.Key Responsibilities And Essential Job Functions• NetSuite Purchase Order Management• Create and manage the entire purchase order (PO) lifecycle in NetSuite, including Purchase-to-pay (P2P), Item Master, and training• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing PO’s within the ERP System.• Supplier Management:• Monitor MRO supplier performance to ensure quality, reliability, and adherence to delivery dates, and other suppliers as necessary.• Address and resolve any issues with suppliers to maintain smooth procurement operations.• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.• Contract Lifecycle Documentation and Management:• Document and manage the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring all agreements are properly recorded and accessible.• Maintain compliance with contract terms and conditions.• Data Analysis• Monitor procurement performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions based on data.• Generate reports on key metrics such as cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement cycle time to support strategic decision making.• Assists in Sourcing• Leverage existing vendors for projects and Customer Non-Recurring Charges (NRCs)• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and source necessary materials and services.• Perform other duties as required and assigned.Required Qualifications• Education and Experience• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.• Experience with ERP systems and procurement processes preferred, but not required.• Relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management; one to two years of experience preferred.• Skills and Competencies:• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills• Effectively work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at once• Ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.Physical Requirements• This position is primarily office-based in either of Flexential’s HQ locations, with some travel required (less than 10%).Benefits of working at Flexential:• Medical, Telehealth, Dental and Vision• 401(k)• Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)• Life and AD&D• Short Term and Long-Term disability• Flex Time Off (PTO)• Leave of Absence• Employee Assistance Program• Wellness Program• Rewards and Recognition ProgramBenefits are subject to change at the Company’s discretion.Base Pay Range: Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $53,760 - $68,000.
