This position is considered US Remote; candidates must reside within the continental US. If you are located within 25 miles of a branch office, the position location will be considered Hybrid. 
The salary range for this position is $110-130k/year.

Position Summary

As a Scrum Master at Flex Technology Group, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating agile development practices across our teams. You will work closely with product owners, developers, and internal and external customer stakeholders which includes ensuring that Scrum principles are adhered to, fostering a collaborative environment, and enabling teams to deliver high-quality products.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives) to ensure productive and focused meetings.
  • Coach team members on Scrum practices and agile methodologies to enhance their understanding and implementation.
  • Remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress, facilitating solutions and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to maintain a well-defined and prioritized product backlog.
  • Monitor and report on team performance metrics, providing insights for improvement.
  • Ensure that the team adheres to Scrum principles and practices, promoting an agile mindset across the organization.
  • Act as a servant leader, supporting the team in achieving their goals and delivering value.
  • Foster a positive team culture and encourage collaboration and communication among team members.
  • Work with internal, and external customer stakeholders to align team goals with organizational objectives and ensure transparency.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops on Scrum and agile practices as needed.

 

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Agile certification equal to CSM (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of agile principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate team members.
  • Proficient in using agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Must be able to travel up to 5% annually for team or customer meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification preferred.
