As a member of the Flight Operations Department for Nestlé Purina, the Flight Scheduler works directly with our executive administrators, pilots, and maintenance department to manage and coordinate all aspects of domestic and international travel. Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and excellent communication skills are necessary to ensure trips are organized and completed efficiently for our internal high-level executives.
- Schedule corporate owned aircraft and flight crews for both domestic and international flights within the parameters of all regulations
- Make appropriate recommendations of optimal airports based on Flight Operations Standard Operating Procedures while working with executive administration and FBO customer service representatives
- Arrange hotel, ground transportation, and catering as needed for crew and passengers
- Arrange arrival and departure into airports, dispatches fuel, and arranges handling
- Coordinates with third party handlers for international travel
- Compile and complete reports and documents with accuracy in accordance with aviation and department guidelines
- Assist with various administrative duties including processing service provider invoices and completing expense reports for department personnel
REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or GED Equivalent
- 3+ years of corporate aviation experience and experience with aviation software (ex: FOS or tripplanning.biz)
- 1+ years of experience completing administrative tasks within a flight operations department
