What you will be doing!-
Aircraft and Test Mission Preparation and Execution for flight/ground testing
-
Test Cards deck and mission briefing preparation
-
Brief of test cards to team (engineers, RCO’s, FTCE’s, Instrumentation, Pilot’s, etc)
Simulations – as required -
Signature of test plan deck
-
Support Pilot Briefs (As Required)
-
Communication to Aircraft Lead, FTCE, FTI for ALL activities pertaining to the mission including mission flight test prep sheet
-
Post-mission reporting requirements
-
Coordinate the activities of the maintenance shop with the Aircraft Lead and FTCE
-
Coordinate the engineering, safety, test ranges and test support organizations into a coherent, logical, efficient and executable test activity
-
Asset Planning and Coordination of Aircraft Support Facilities, Ranges, Etc. both internal and external to ITF and LM
-
Voting on Test Point in Spear/FTRT within the specified timeline
-
Support AOL, Flight Clearance, FTR, and Mod Planning meetings as required
Detailed specific knowledge all aspects of mission and ensure completion and compliance for:

Test Procedures
- Aircraft Operating Limits (AOLs) & Flight Clearance Limitations

Test Execution Package requirements and safety planning, including THA’s

Applicable System Release Memo (SRM)
-
Non-standard operation/functions of the individual aircraft tail number
Education-
Aerospace Engiineering in aerodynamics, stability and control, flutter, Loads, and/or Dynamics with backgorund in development, analysis, and/or testing

Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical/Astronautical, Mechanical, Aerospace/aviation technology
Other Desired Skills-
Ability to work successfully both independently and in a team environment.

Positions are located:
Edwards Air Force Base, CA
ADP/Skunkworks, Palmdale, CA
Patuxent River Naval Base, MD
California Salary range is $110,000 to $145,000 annually EOE
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.

Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.

Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.

Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM

Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
