If that sounds like you then keep on reading and see if this role is the one for you.Job Summary: The Manager, Accounts Receivable and Credit at Flock Freight is responsible for overseeing the credit and accounts receivable functions to ensure the financial stability and profitability of the company. This role involves managing credit policies, assessing creditworthiness, and ensuring timely collection of receivables. The manager will work closely with various departments to optimize credit and AR processes and support the company's growth objectives.Key Responsibilities:Credit Management:• Develop and implement credit policies and procedures.• Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing enterprise customers.• Review and approve credit limits and terms.• Monitor and manage credit risk, including conducting regular credit reviews and updates.Accounts Receivable Management:• Oversee the AR team to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collections.• Monitor AR aging reports and take appropriate actions to minimize overdue accounts.• Implement and manage dunning processes and strategies for collections.• Resolve customer disputes and issues related to billing and payments.• Knowledge of 3rd party billing platforms and accounting reconciliation procedures.Reporting and Analysis:• Prepare and present regular reports on credit and AR performance to senior management.• Analyze credit and AR data to identify trends and areas for improvement.• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the credit and AR functions.Process Improvement:• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.• Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement system enhancements.• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.• Work alongside the Enterprise onboarding team, to ensure we have all custom invoice requirements captured.Team Leadership:• Lead, mentor, and develop the credit and AR team.• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching.• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.• 5+ years of experience in credit and accounts receivable management, preferably in a similar industry.• Strong understanding of credit risk assessment and AR processes.• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce).• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to lead and motivate a team.The expected range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000 per year. This range reflects typical earning potential in this role. When determining an offer, we take into account a variety of factors that are important in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill sets; experience and tenure; education and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate is based on market data. Salary bands may, in some circumstances, be adjusted to a different geographic area depending on the candidate's position and location.In addition to salary, full-time employees are also eligible for an equity package and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Flock Freight.
