In this role, you will be responsible for building and executing test cases to ensure the functionality, performance, and usability of our core apps on Flock Safety devices. You will work as part of the Quality & Automation organization and be tasked with helping to build a highly scalable and stable test framework for manual testing of Flock Safety products.
How you'll make an impact:
Assist in building and executing test cases to ensure functionality, performance, and usability of Flock Safety devices
Work as part of the QA organization to evaluate process and make recommendations for improvements in QA workflows
Assist in writing test cases to ensure high quality release delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that issues/defects are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
Identify, report, and track defects to resolution using Jira, Confluence, and/or Testrail.
Participate in articulation of Acceptance Criteria for features being delivered per release.
Conduct ad-hoc testing as necessary.
Conduct regression testing and verify bug fixes by QA or Dev.
Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to ensure high quality application delivery.
Have 2+ years of professional experience in software testing, preferably with Android OS, Apps, and devices.
Able to work in our Atlanta HQ on a hybrid remote schedule (3 days onsite, 2 remote.)
Holds strong knowledge of common black box software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
Have experience in testing hardware devices (both production and prototype).
Holds knowledge of Android Development tools such as Android Studios, and adb.
Have the ability to identify root causes for defects and provide meaningful feedback to development teams
Holds strong communication and interpersonal skills. Both verbal and written.
Have experience with common QA tools such as Testrail, Jira and confluence.

The Executive Review: A chance to meet a leader within the Device Software team. They will be looking to get to know you better, understand your motivations, and understand your technical background. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more.
In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary of $89,600-$123,200 as well as stock options. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators. Your recruiter will discuss this in-depth with you during our first chat.
