The Mid-Market Associate Renewal Representative is responsible for focusing on renewals of clients with fewer than 50 covered employees enrolled. The position would be... more tactical vs strategic as evidenced by the volume of clients assigned to the book of business. Important to Know Must reside in the Tampa, FL, or surrounding area Requires travel for the field training, strategizing, building and maintaining business relationships Florida Blue is a federal contractor and as such will comply with federal guidelines related to the COVID-19 vaccination. What You Will Be Doing Develop and deliver renewals with successful strategy to brokers for groups with fewer than 50 covered lives. Coordinate cross-sell opportunities for Florida Combined Life and USAble when appropriate. Maintain effective relationships with internal and external contacts required to complete job tasks. Coordinate material required for enrollment meetings. Oversee and manage external and internal partners through the renewal implementation process for assigned accounts. Assist Mid-Market Account Executive - Sales with case installations for accounts targeted for their inventory when time permits. Promote broker development through communication of Blue Diamond and bonus programs. The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned. What You Must Have 4 years related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education in sales Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience Hold a current State of Florida Health and Life Insurance License (2-15) 1 Year Valid Florida Driver's License to visit agents as necessary Ability to work independently and develop alternative plan offerings to achieve renewal objectives. Ability to quickly develop relationships with brokers and client via non-in person communication methods. Ability to prioritize and manage issues resolutions for internal and external partners. Willingness and ability to travel when required. What We Prefer Experience working with group health plans Knowledge of Life, Disability and Dental Products. Excel, Word, and Power Point competencies.
