RP is seeking a VP of Technology Solutions to support our accelerated growth, particularly within our strategic accounts. In this role, you will leverage your expertise and deep understanding of these sectors to drive RP’s growth strategy, focusing on capturing and expanding our federal footprint. Location Requirement: The position offers flexibility to work a hybrid schedule. While not required, there is a preference for the individual to reside within the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area and work from the Ashburn, VA office at least one day per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with RP leadership to develop overall strategic technology plan; defining corporate activities required to differentiate capabilities and market/win new work.
- Provide project and program management support for technology focused programs such as VA Quality Assurance Support Services. Responsibilities include personnel and performance management, deliverables development and submission, coordination on timesheets and invoices, and corporate support
- Deliver on programs according to PMI PMBOK best practices; working across RP headquarters to meet, and exceed, customer expectations
- Support strategic awards by providing technical advice and guidance, providing oversight and management (when appropriate), and relationship management and coordination.
- Develop, provide analysis and direction against a technology driven growth pipeline. This pipeline should include opportunities across RP’s strategic accounts with a priority on Veterans Affairs.
- Develop marketing and account planning in support of technology opportunities across RP’s current and target customers.
- Identify and develop new opportunities based on client relationships, agency objectives, partner network and technology solutions.
- Research and Identify opportunities; supporting the evaluation and qualification of opportunities based on RP’s overall growth strategy.
- Track, assesses, and present new business opportunities from a variety of sources; including SAM.gov, GovWin IQ, and agency forecasts. Own these opportunities from identification through the capture lifecycle process.
- Provide market research on priority agencies, programs, and contacts on their strategic objectives and needs. Present findings to Sr. Leadership as part of an overall account strategy.
- Develop capture strategies and plans based on pipeline of opportunities
- Support capture and partnership activities for a pipeline of opportunities
- Coordinate and prepare for upcoming meetings with partners, teammates, and customers by assessing needs, working with the team to develop appropriate briefing and marketing materials, and overall coordination activities.
- When aligned with skills, provide technical guidance and solutioning for pipeline opportunities.
- Support proposals, presentations, pitches, and events that align directly with RP’s growth strategy.
- Attend and represent RP at events (whether in person or virtual) in support of capture and growth activities. Present findings to the growth and account team to advance strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a combination of equivalent education and experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements. Military experience may also be considered.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in solutioning, capturing and securing, and managing business opportunities.
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate within the broader BD team and across other business units to achieve shared goals.
- Deep understanding of Small Business set-aside programs and their application within the federal contracting landscape.
- Must be eligible to work for any U.S. employer without requiring sponsorship

- Experience managing programs across the federal government
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to quickly and accurately interpret large volumes of information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated energy, drive, and persistence in overcoming obstacles and achieving results.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends when required to attend events or support critical business development activities.
- Experienced and motivated to conduct thorough research and capitalize on opportunities within the federal sector.
