Senior Director, Medicinal Chemistry

FogPharma™ is seeking a creative drug designer with deep expertise in targeted protein degradation to lead multiple Helicon degrader programs from hit to development candidates.

Skills

Ph.D. in Chemistry with 15+ years of Industry experience
Expertise in PROTAC and/or molecular glues
Fluency in computational medicinal chemistry design
Understanding of cellular/molecular biology and mechanisms of drug metabolism
Ability to motivate team and find creative solutions

Responsibilities

Lead drug design teams using AI design platform for rapid SAR decision-making
Develop and implement integrated medicinal chemistry strategy
Drive progression of lead molecules to development candidate nomination
Collaborate with data scientists to evolve machine learning models
Set ambitious goals for reaching discovery milestones

Education

Ph.D. in Chemistry
