The Role:

Serving of food items in a high-volume restaurant. Handling cashier duties when required. Face to face customer service in a food operation.

What You’ll Need:

· 1-2 years’ experience with cash handling in a high-volume facility.

· Food handling experience preferred

· Basic comprehension in Math and ability to work cash register

· Must be able to work nights, holidays and weekends.

· Kitchen sanitation ability

· Ability to use of kitchen equipment, specifically food holding equipment

· Ability to maintain the pace of a high-volume kitchen

· Ability to work in kitchen environment, hot temperatures and standing for long periods

· Food sanitation knowledge

· Attention to detail

· COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions.

What You’ll Do:

· Organize and prioritize preparation of food items

· Prepare food items to guest specifications

· Great Customer Service skills

· Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere.

· Coordinate food preparation with other kitchen staff

· Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and reach-in cooler

· Keep floor clean and free of food items, trash, or other obstacles

· Maintain House of Blues safety and sanitation standards

· Ensure proper rotation of all food items, including the lifting/moving of food weighing up to 40 lbs.

· Food Sanitation and Safety compliance

· Adherence to all House of Blues policies

· Maintain neat appearance

· Punctuality/Attendance
