About The Role
The Senior Accountant will oversee revenue accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accruals processes, and other General Ledger (GL) related duties. Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will support building scalable and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) compliant accounting processes, and will be a key partner in supporting internal and external audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
What You Will Do
Fully own revenue accounting, accounts receivable, and the accruals process.
Support the month-end close cycle and other GL and operational duties such as audit efforts.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal controls, contributing to audit readiness and operational enhancements.
Build and enhance internal processes to support scalability and automation while maintaining compliance.
Assist with system implementations and integrations, as needed.
Develop a deep understanding of the Netsuite.
Assist in onboarding and guiding the development of additional staff or contractors as the team grows.
Collaborate cross-functionally to meet accounting and business goals.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field.
4+ years of accounting experience, including expertise in revenue, AR, accruals, and full-cycle month-end close.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and risk assessment.
Experience with Netsuite ERP system. Netsuite ARM experience is highly preferred.
Industry experience in biotechnology, genomics, or diagnostics industries, experience with clinical research/regulated products, highly preferred.
CPA and public accounting experience is highly preferred, but not required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
Exceptional ability to manage competing priorities and communicate proactively.

Compensation and Benefits
This role is hiring at an annual salary of $85,000 - $100,000 and is eligible for equity offerings. Foresight offers benefits including paid vacation, sick time, and parental leave (if applicable), alongside medical, dental, vision, life, disability coverage, flexible spending accounts, and a 401k with company match.
