FORGE Integration & Test Lead

Job Description
ENSCO is seeking an innovative, creative, and highly motivated individual to support the U.S. Space Force, Space System Command’s Remote Sensing (RS) Program through the RS Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) contract. This position, located in Colorado Springs, CO, will support a diverse set of strategic and tactical Remote Sensing systems and infrastructure in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.
This position will be responsible for leading a team in support of the US Space Force’s efforts to transition to operations the Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) Mission Data Processing Application Framework.

Duties include, on behalf of the Government:

  • Leverage Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to plan for FORGE integration into the operational environment
  • Ensure FORGE integration is coordinated with system requirements, architecture, and design
  • Assess and track integration progress
  • Plan for FORGE verification and validation
  • Assess and track FORGE verification and validation
  • Plan for all necessary supporting infrastructure, tech orders, training and spares
  • Ensure verification and validation will check the correct implementation of architectural characteristics and design properties as well as the boundaries between system elements
  • Support the Govt in management of risks, issues, and interdependencies,
  • Identify schedule disconnects and conflicts,
  • Develop action plans for resolution and assist the Government in executing selected solutions.

Qualifications Required (Skills)

  • BS in a Math, Science or Engineering field
  • Experience with MBSE
  • 5+ years of applicable experience to include:
  • Systems engineering (e.g. requirements management, risk management, integration, etc)
  • Test and evaluation
  • System integration
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Experience leading collaborative teams in planning and executing technical tasks
  • Experience working with military or DoD civilians
  • ABILITY TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

Qualifications Desired

  • MS in a science or engineering field
  • INCOSE certification (ASEP, CSEP, ESEP)
  • Experience with requirements definition, installation, integration, or test of a space system’s ground segment
  • Experience working with Space Systems Command
  • Experience working with mission data processing systems
  • Experience with software-centric system design, development, and implementation
