McCain Foods is now accepting applications for a Forklift Operator position to work in this position on a 12-hour night shift at the Burley, Idaho plant.

The Forklift Operator is responsible for ensuring efficient movement, including data entry into WMS tracking system of Packaging Department cribs of bulk product, pallets and supplies. Additionally, the Forklift Operator is responsible for transporting cribs of waste product to outdoor delivery area.

• Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience with forklift operation is a plus.
• Must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions.
• Must have ability to effectively present information before groups of customers or employees.
• Must have ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units or measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; along with the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Must have demonstrated computer skills and experience with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high stress environment where multi-tasking is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a factory issued lift truck operators license.

Compensation includes a competitive hourly wage and excellent benefits.
