We’re seeking a Test and Development Engineer - Lifestyle Products to join our rapidly growing team.

This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our offices near Leamington Spa. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

What you’ll do

As a Test and Development Engineer you will have full ownership of validating and compliance of a portfolio of accessory products across one or more platforms, leading the technical direction, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Ownership of the conformance of a portfolio of accessory products against internal and external standards
• Validation of accessories to meet product requirements ensuring the customers’ needs are met
• Liaise with Vehicle Engineering to ensure accessory product fitment, interfaces and system requirements are validated in line with the vehicle
• Conformance responsibility (including testing and homologation) of accessory products
• ·Deliver products against quality, cost and delivery targets by working with internal function groups as well as the supply chain
• Mentor and support the professional development of team members

Who you are

• Solid product development experience
• Solid 3DX experience
• A ‘can do’ attitude with a focus on delivering great products
• Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and drive towards a common goal
• A calm multitasker who successfully manages, priorities and executes against deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
• Solid understanding of product definition, product creation, delivery and change management
• Previous experience of automotive accessories product development
