Corporate & Securities Counsel
Forter is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel, Corporate & Securities to join our fast-growing Legal team.
Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a corporate and securities counsel
- Strong background in securities laws
- Comfortable negotiating and managing corporate transactions
- Experience working at a high growth technology company
- High ethical standards and strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Build and scale the corporate legal function
- Manage equity program with the assistance of Equity Plan Manager
- Drive public company readiness and other compliance efforts
- Provide legal support for corporate transactions
- Help prepare SEC filings and public disclosure documents
- Oversee global corporate administration efforts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other team members and departments
Education
- J.D. degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school
