Job Description

Starting in the Fall of 2025 as a Sales Support Intern, you will receive robust training in our products and sales process. You will work directly with inside and outside sales managers on administrative tasks and projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform sales related duties for the Territory Sales team by responding to inquiries including, but not limited to: order status, product information, claims/returns, order processing, account status, sales programs, pricing questions, report generation, CRM updates and quality issues.
  • Work collaboratively with the outside sales force, sales administration and operations to provide technical assistance with product specifications, catalog information, performance and building code information.
  • Act as liaison with other departments within the organization to develop cohesive working relationships, facilitate information sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in developing Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, sell sheets and Business Communication documents.
  • Assist with researching and qualifying project leads.
  • May assist in other Sales Enablement functions during peak periods.
  • Participate in an in-depth training program to rapidly learn the door business.

INCLUDES:

  • Product knowledge training (Doors 101-201-301-401)
  • Technical training
  • Orientation with other key functional areas of the business (Product Management, Marketing, Customer Service, Customer Care (Consumer/Trade Calls + Post Sales Support)
  • Orientation on Therma-Tru Customer Relationship Management Tool (Hubspot)
  • Conclusion of Internship: Develop and present to senior leaders a “report out” presentation on key areas of learning.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field
  • Desire to pursue a career in Sales or Customer Service
  • Interested in building products as a potential field of work
  • Ability to work independently on sales/marketing research projects in support of sales
  • Pro-active, can take action in the absence of specific guidance
  • Demonstrates a passion for understanding customer needs
  • Ability to successfully partner with the Therma-Tru sales organization
  • Willingness to travel overnight as required to support the sales force
  • Ability to work Hybrid / Remote
  • Ability to prioritize projects based on timelines internal and external
