Hi, I’m Richard–Found’s Head of Finance. Our team is responsible for all things finance and accounting. We support Found by ensuring we have accurate and timely financial data used to inform critical business decisions.
The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for the administration of the general accounting systems, including upkeep of the general ledger, preparing account reconciliations and variance analyses, and supporting the month end close process. This role will also be responsible for supervising external accounting resources. Ideal candidates have led core phases of audit and tax preparation. Oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including accounts receivable and accounts payable, general ledger entries, and financial month-end close
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
Implement and maintain strong internal controls around account policies and workflows
Lead external audits and tax preparation
Support corporate treasury operations and cash flow forecasting
Manage external accounting resources
6+ years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a high-growth company
BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or equivalent professional designation
Experience with systems including QuickBooks, Bill.com, and/or Ramp
Strong understanding of GAAP financial reporting requirements
Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office tools
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Lead a successful first-time audit end-to-end
Big 4 work experience
Familiarity with the fintech industry
The anticipated salary range for this role is $144,000 - $193,000. The salary range listed represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
