Pair Eyewear is looking for a creative and data driven FP&A Manager, as one of the first hires within the FP&A function. This position will be reporting to our VP of Finance, and will be responsible for managing future analysts, as we further build out the team and function.
Here are some requirements (these are real requirements we'll be checking for!):
- 4+ years of professional work experience
- 1+ years of managing a team
- A strong understanding of DTC metrics and businesses
- Debt, equity, and transaction experience is a nice to have
These requirements exist, because this person will be deeply involved in building out the entire FP&A function, including:
- Overseeing and owning the full company rolling forecast, in conjunction with the VP of Finance, from top-line revenue to bottom-line net income and EBITDA.
- Working closely with the leadership team to formulate the business's medium to long term strategic and financial plan, as well as long term cash flow.
- Overseeing a team of FP&A analysts, and establishing the procedures needed to manage the overall forecasting process.
- Providing monthly, quarterly, and year-end analysis and commentary versus budget, by department, product, cohort, etc in order to help us better understand business performance.
- Leading any ad-hoc analysis necessary in order to make strong financial business decisions, as the company continues to expand.
- Helping to establish operational and financial metrics, benchmarks, and budgets, as well as the reporting standards for these items.
- Working closely with various operational teams to help establish a forecasting and budgeting process, and to better manage and create predictability in our financial performance.
- Working closely with the accounting team to prepare and consolidate our management financial model during the month-end close process.
- Working closely with the data team to analyze business performance and quantify the impact on the company forecast.
