Sales Development Representative - HoustonThe Sales Development Representative (“SDR”) finds and screens prospective schools that could benefit from our client’s products and services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the SDR has a strong understanding of the sales process. It excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales closers for success. The SDR is a quick learner with strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our client’s program in a compelling way.• This is a 3-month contract at 40 hours per week with the potential for a permanent offer.• *To be considered you must have inside sales experience, K-12 experience and be located in Houston (able to meet the Account Executive as needed in Tomball, TX)Duties & Responsibilities● Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage Account Executives in the next steps.● Evaluate and vet inbound leads to determine their potential value.● Conduct thorough research to understand a school’s needs and pain points and develop relevant responses.● Coordinate with the sales team to schedule initial meetings and follow-ups.● Assist in developing strategies to increase sales volume and efficiency.● Collaborate with the sales team to optimize outreach methods and messaging.● Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook.● Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales results.● Act as a liaison between marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure smooth sales discussions.Desirable Skills & Experience● Previous experience in a sales support or coordination role is preferred.● Strong organizational and time management skills.● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.● Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.● Familiarity with sales software and CRM systems is a plus.● Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)Job Type● 3-month contract at 40 hours/week, with the potential for a permanent offerOur client is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in its hiring of employees based on race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.
