Fraud Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fraud Team Lead to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of sports and gaming. As a Fraud Lead, you will play a critical role in enhancing the sports community and member experience through transactional integrity. You will be responsible for mentoring and developing associates regularly through continuous feedback, check-ins, and ongoing mentorship.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

• Analyze fraud trends and recommend future fraud prevention processes

• Use various tools, systems, and reports to detect and uncover fraud trends

• Review player deposit and withdrawal transactions for potential fraud and ensure accounts are correctly maintained

• Work with Fraud Support and Customer Experience to resolve player restrictions

• Identify new methods for fraud detection and prevention and work with product and engineering teams to implement recommendations

• Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations, including KYC and gaming regulations

• Implement new fraud alerts and controls based on data-supported recommendations

• Assist Regulatory Operations, Compliance, and other internal teams with ad hoc requests and additional fraud reviews as needed

• Mentor and develop associates through continuous feedback and ongoing mentorship

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• 4+ years of relevant experience in a Fraud or Risk Operations role

• 1+ years of management experience leading a team of employees

• Investigative curiosity with strong critical thinking skills

• Strong passion for leading and developing a team

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Basic SQL experience required, intermediate preferred

• Self-motivated, organized, and analytical thinker

• Competence with Intercom & Microsoft Office products or G Suite

• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or Sociology a plus

• Intermediate Excel skills are preferred.

For this role, in this particular location, a reasonable estimate of the base salary range for new hires is between $57,000 USD to $80,000 USD, plus benefits including Medical, Dental, PTO, and 401k.
