Freeform is seeking a Senior Materials Engineer to establish M&P infrastructure and best practices for metal 3D printing. The ideal candidate has strong fundamentals in materials engineering and a passion for innovative technology.

Responsibilities

Establish M&P best practices and materials testing strategy
Measure material properties such as tensile strength and surface roughness
Generate quality metrics for printed parts
Analyze and interpret data and present findings
Collaborate with process development team for materials findings
Optimize procedures for measuring material quality
Create automation for M&P procedures

Education

Bachelor’s degree in material science or related field
