Senior Opto-Mechanical Engineer (High-Power Lasers)

Freeform is seeking a Senior Opto-Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of custom systems for high-power lasers in 3D printing technology. This position is ideal for motivated engineers who enjoy solving complex problems.

Responsibilities

Design and build complex opto-mechanical systems
Integrate high power lasers and high speed camera solutions
Create drawings to opto-mechanical GD&T standards
Establish and own precision alignment processes
Perform test and characterization of optical performance
Collaborate with engineering teams for system architecture development

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in optics, mechanical engineering or related technical field
