Our flexible work program allows employees to work virtually as well as come together in person when needed at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix and/or one of our site locations. Employees can work remotely from most states in the U.S., with the exception of California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma and South Carolina. Additional states may be excluded from remote work based on business factors. Should the position shift to in-person (office/site) work in the future, the company will offer relocation benefits at that time, so long as the position meets the established eligibility for these benefits. Description Under general guidance, this team member leads a cross functional team of subject matter experts that ensures excellence in contractor management processes and practice across our North American locations. Continuity and continuous improvement will be the main driving force for the team while a combination of remote management, onsite audits and data driven metrics will ensure progress in this space. This team member will be responsible for building relationships and influencing without authority to champion best-in-class contractor management practices. This person will champion the success of the team and build on the feedback of the cross functional steering committee guiding this program. • Provide a high level of customer service to onsite project teams for contractor compliance focused on standardized templates and practice. This includes approvals, audits and managing vendor connections within contractor management software. • Supports field project managers with conflict resolution strategies and accountability mapping exercises for onsite contractor realignment meetings. • Travels to North American locations to support contractor work reviews through intentional audits guided by conformance schedule. • Trains onsite PMs and occasionally leads the performance management plan reviews following contractor accountability meetings. This team member will ensure site PMs are prepared to follow up on accountability plans. • Supports master data management for contractor management system including keeping existing contractors compliant and assisting the onboarding process for new contractors. • Coordinates weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual meetings with Contractor Management Steering Committee, site teams, key contractors, contractor management software teams, and other key stakeholders. • Provides occasional transactional support for site PMs and training for local GSC teams to better leverage contractor management software for bidding events. • Drives contractor compliance to assist contractors by being the first line of support for questions about compliance. Responsible for connecting contractors with support documentation and standards to ensure compliance. • Responsible for collecting policy revision feedback, championing updates to policies and managing official document retention for policies relating to contractor management. Also serves as power user role for contractor management Teams and SharePoint sites. • Supports projects for data management improvement and additional leveraging of technology to improve contractor management strategies for FCX. • Responsible for ensuring periodic reporting is meeting the needs of both leadership and the project management customers who support our onsite contractors. • Perform other duties as required. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED and seven (7) years of experience in Global Supply Chain including (5) years in the mining industry, including three (3) years in a supervisory or management capacity, OR • High School Diploma or GED and seven (7) years of experience in the mining industry, including (5) years directly interfacing with supply chain, including three (3) years in a supervisory or management capacity OR • Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience in Global Supply Chain or mining industry, including three (3) years supervisory or management experience OR • Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience in Global Supply Chain, including three (3) years supervisory or management experience Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree • Five (5) years of experience in Global Supply Chain • Five (5) years of experience in the mining industry • Three (3) years supervisory or management experience • Project Management Professional certification (pmi.org) • Must demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft applications including but not limited to MS Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint • Working knowledge of contractor data management systems (e.g., ISN) and willing to receive certified user status. Criteria/Conditions: • Position may require travel up to 25% of the time to North American operating locations. • Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hart hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required. What We Offer You The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $93,000-$130,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
