Role overview


Given our exciting and progressive growth plans,  we are looking for an exceptional Junior Accountant to come and join our global business.


Reporting directly into the VP of Accounting & Controller, and working collaboratively with Finance and external partners, you will be accountable for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations at Fresha.

What you will be doing
  • Collaboration - Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless partner experience
  • Meticulous - Verifying and booking of cost invoices and bank transactions
  • Diligent - Monitoring of account payable and account receivable transactions
  • Detail-oriented - Verifying and preparing data for month-end closing activities
  • Cooperative - Cooperation with the external accounting service providers
  • Accurate - Recording of “one-off” sales invoices and reviewing of revenue
  • Global - Cooperation with our entities located worldwide (Canada, United States, UK, UAE etc.)
  • Innovative - Looking for improvements and process automation
  • Thorough - Reconciling balance sheet accounts (like: cash, prepayments, accruals)
  • Responsible - Processing manual payouts to Fresha Partners in UAE and KSA
  • Analytical - Performing review of P&L accounts in order to identify missing invoices, missing bookings (prepayments, accruals), etc

This list is not exhaustive and there may be other activities you are required to deliver.


What we are looking for
  • At least 1 year of experience in the accounting / finance field
  • Financial education background
  • Understanding of accounting and tax law
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Very good knowledge of Excel
  • Being proactive with analytical skills and good attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise important projects

Added bonus: 
  • Bi-lingual - Fluency in English and another language

Interview Process
  • Screen Call - Video-call with Talent Team - 20 -30 minutes
  • 1st Stage - Video-call/in-person with Accounting Team - 30 minutes
  • Final Stage - Video-call/in-person with Accounting Team and  VP of Accounting & Controller - 45 minutes

We aim to complete the entire interview process and deliver feedback within 4 weeks.
