Through the Freudenberg Group, we reach customers in a total of 60 countries.Assistant ControllerResponsibilities• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions not handled by corporate, including credit/debits, Transtar payments, and credit references.• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate A/R and A/P, supporting goal achievement and process improvements.• Perform cost analysis, maintain cost accuracy, and oversee monthly/yearly cost rolls in SAP for the Milan location.• Oversee SAP transactions such as NIR processing, blocked invoices, and order settlements, ensuring timely month-end closure.• Calculate and process commission payments; serve as Diner's Club site administrator managing P-Card setup, cancellations, and monthly transaction reviews.• Prepare and distribute daily sales reports, as well as track capital projects and assign project numbers for tooling and capital investments.• Compile and analyze data, including weekly freight expenses, monthly departmental expenses, customer tooling, and labor hours for internal reviews.• Support the Plant Controller in AOP planning, month-end journal entries, and provide assistance to customer service on credit holds and billing issues.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred.• Preferred work experience to include three (3) years in a combination of the following disciplines: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, General Accounting, Cost Accounting.• Either college degree or work experience as described is required.• Ability to work independently with little direction, have good decision-making skills, and ability to institute and follow procedures.The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
