Front Desk Attendant (part-time)

HealthFitness is looking for a Front Desk Attendant to join the recreation team at our community client site located in Crosby, MN. In this position, you will be responsible for forward facing customer service, general reception duties, membership sales & management, promoting programs, facility supervision and point of sale transactions.

What you'll be doing

• Provide excellent customer service to all patrons including addressing patron issues and concerns in a professional manner. Great customer service is essential in this role!
• Answer phones and greet patrons as they enter and exit the facility. Address questions regarding current membership accounts, assist in filling out proper membership update forms.
• Exercise good judgement and uphold facility policies and follow facility procedures.
• Communicate information about the facility, related services and perform tours of the facility for prospective members and visitors.
• Handle point of sale transactions and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
• Perform basic cleaning duties.

What you’ll need to have

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service experience a plus.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 90 days of hire.
• Must be comfortable using computers and willing and able to learn point of sale software.
• Ability to hear from 20 feet away and over the phone, speak English fluently.
• Able to accurately count US currency.
