A Front Desk Assistant contributes to AHF's mission by presenting a friendly, helpful face to tenants, visitors, and people seeking housing at Healthy Housing Foundation locations. Within their duties of greeting tenants, visitors and answering questions this position has the opportunity to give stand out service that enhances the reputation of AHF. In addition, better customer service will increase AHF's ability to serve more clients.
Reliability in the handling of front desk duties protects AHF and operations at specific Healthy Housing Foundation site locations as assigned. This role is essential for the front desk operations and for direct support to the property Managers at various Healthy Housing locations.
The Front Desk Assistant can enhance the experience of other employees and tenants by being friendly and helpful and by offering to give them a helping hand when they need it. In addition, giving feedback to their manager about how service could be improved will allow the team member to enhance their contribution.
The Front Desk Assistant adds consistent value to the Healthy Housing Team by adapting to various situations with ease and by being flexible.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work and social administration, general administration, management or business studies from recognized college or university.

Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in a busy office related to the specification of the roles and responsibilities highlighted above. Experience working in healthcare delivery systems or related field is an added advantage.

Demonstrable experience in word processing and very good typing speed, office management, logistic or supply chain management. .

Experience in cash management and producing accurate and timely financial accountability and reports
- Solid planning, organizational and multi-tasking skills with a proven ability to work under pressure and solve problems in a fast paced environment.
