The Opportunity:
Embry-Riddle is now hiring an entry-level Front Desk Receptionist for International Student and Scholar Services at the Daytona Beach campus. Responsibilities include:

Answer main phone and direct calls accordingly. Greet and direct people to the correct department as they enter the International Student Programs and Diversity and Inclusion Suite.

Create SSN letters and email students when their SSN documents are ready for pick up. Monitor, place a hold on student records, and reach out to students letting them know their passport is about to expire.

Create the ISSS monthly newsletter and send to students and staff on the mailing list. Keep the mailing lists up to date.

Create flyers for events and announcements for international students for the ISSS office. Monitor and post events and information on social media.

Be the main point of contact to send all documents to Imaging.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

High School (or GED) level ability in grammar, spelling, basic composition, and math.

Superior organizational skills.

Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.

Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and with extreme attention to detail with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.

Sensitivity to the unique needs and cultural differences of international students and scholars, and the ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s degree.

Related work experience in student support.
