Frontend Development Engineer (m/f/d)

eClear is the first and only “One Stop Shop” provider in the entire European Union, which allows around 1.1 million e-commerce companies in the EU to sell their goods within the EU member states, taking into account the respective valid VAT. With our software products and services, we free online retailers in the EU and their investors from a liability risk of more than 18 billion Euro so that they can concentrate on the essentials, namely their business.

• • Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• • Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• • Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
    

• • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• • Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• • Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
• • You enjoy working in a team of dedicated and experienced software engineers
• • Fluent in English, knowledge of German is a plus

The ideal place to work is Berlin, but it can also be designed flexibly (Constance / Cologne / Munich or Berlin with remote options).
