About the Job

As a Senior Frontend Engineer helping build our product, you will prototype new ideas, architect and code our user-facing applications. You will determine the strategic direction for our broader frontend architecture to help our product and company to effectively scale. You will mentor other engineers and help them design and implement high-quality, enterprise-grade features. You are somebody who understands customer needs, enjoys building solutions to complex problems, and excels at prioritizing high-value features. You will report to the CTO/co-founder.

Role and Responsibilities

• Contribute to all aspects of product development, from prototyping new ideas to architecting and implementing application UX.
• Work with product managers and designers to develop delightful and intuitive interfaces and experiences
• Ship features with high quality, monitor and analyze live site issues, and solve customer needs
• Be a technical leader and mentor by guiding teammates in best practices for software design, architecture, and implementation
• Establish and improve the strategic direction of the software architecture
• Build goals and metrics, guide discussions about how to improve them, strategize and implement changes

Required Skills and Experience

• 8+ years of experience building SPA or PWA frontends with MVC frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular
• Experience building scalable, dynamic frontends, scoping requirements, and successfully launching products
• Mastery of common web technologies including JavaScript, SCSS, HTML5, and the DOM
• B.S. in Computer Science or a related field
