As our People Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions including supporting the upcoming migrations to new HRIS and Payroll Platforms. Your responsibilities will include managing the full employee lifecycle, including payroll and benefits administration, ensuring HR compliance, conducting audits and reporting, handling leaves and disabilities, liaising with HR vendors, overseeing new hire onboarding, and providing administrative and operational support to the people team. The role offers an opportunity to work on career building projects as we reimagine a new level of People Operations & Performance of our hybrid and remote teams.

Key Responsibilities:
People Operations
Support the full employment lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding to make our team members’ experience seamless.
Own and administer people technology systems; delivery, documentation, and effectiveness of core People operations and processes, systems of record, and communication protocols with other cross-functional teams such as Finance, Accounting, IT, and Procurement and external vendor partners.
People Ops Service: Serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Provide generalist support to assist with various people programs and projects.
Payroll and Benefits Administration
Execute bi-monthly payroll accurately and timely.
Manage employee benefits enrollment and inquiries.
Primary liaison with HR Vendors: Coordinate with HR service providers and vendors.
Execute on compensation and benefits strategy aligned with business goals.
Propose and manage perks and benefits to ensure they are competitive, cost effective and aligned with goals.
Support implementation of new HRIS in Q3
HR Compliance, Audits, and Reporting
Own and drive all People/HR compliance processes and audits to ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations.
Conduct audits and prepare reports as needed.
Administer leave requests and disability accommodations.
Employee Lifecycle & HRIS
Facilitate new hire onboarding/offboarding programs and processes.
Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records.
Support implementation of new HRIS in Q3
Your Success Metrics:

What you’ll bring:
2-4+ years of demonstrated success in systematizing HR operations, including payroll, HRIS, benefits, and multi-state compliance.
Proficient in onboarding, employee engagement, and performance support systems.
Effective organizational skills to manage multiple workflows, projects, and tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for vendor interactions and internal relations.
Analytical skills for audits and data analysis.
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.
High integrity, confidentiality, and empathy in handling sensitive matters.
Service-oriented with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
High emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills and independent judgement aligned with the values and philosophies of the business.

This position pays between $80,000-95,000 base salary + bonus & equity. Your final base salary will be determined based on location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
If you are located within a 25-mile radius of our LA or NY HQs, you will be considered a hybrid associate and will be required to be in the office 3 days/week.
