Full Stack .NET Software Developer

RDI is growing and seeking a Full Stack .NET Software Developer to perform support and work on enhancements for many internal and external applications. The developer will work using Microsoft and other new technologies doing front end, back end and code development work. This is a remote position, and a successful candidate will have a lot of autonomy to work on tasks both in a group environment and independently. This role will report to the Sr. Director, Application Development.

Here’s what you’ll do as Full Stack .NET Software Developer:

  • Responsible for high-level requirements, project plans and ultimately for the successful delivery of projects in terms of quality and timeliness
  • Work with leaders across the organization to understand and address gaps and improvement opportunities in their departments
  • Take ownership and drive initiatives across departments and teams that may be larger than development specific topics, as needed
  • Design and write code for new and existing technology using a variety of applications, techniques, and tools to fulfill customer needs and support business operations while aligning with the organization's strategies and goals
  • Test, troubleshoot, diagnose, isolate, debug, resolve and document technology problems; provide escalated technical support; perform quality assurance review of new and existing technology
  • Evaluate, install and customize vendor-supplied or commercial-off-the-shelf technology
  • Provide training and guidance to other staff; contribute technical expertise to projects
  • Gather, analyze, document and articulate user and/or technical requirement
  • Maintain documentation including program libraries and technical manuals
  • Work closely with other staff, such as project managers, designers, developers, systems analysts, and sales and marketing professionals
  • Guide software design and ensure common coding standards are adhered to
  • Ensure all processes are monitored and quickly react as issues arise
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Travel to Cincinnati will be required once per quarter.

Here’s what you already have to be a successful Full Stack .NET Software Developer:

  • Secondary education/degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or related field highly preferred; a combination of 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience with Microsoft technologies
  • 5+ years’ experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases
  • Demonstrated expertise in most of the following technologies: C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Web APIs, ORMs, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Entity Framework, Azure, DevOps
  • Ability to tune queries and databases/indexes highly preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills (ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering and business problems)
  • Working knowledge of OOP, Design Patterns, SOA, and Architectural Patterns
  • Ability to balance multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity working with 3rdparty APIs
  • Experience working with geographically diverse team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
