Come join Fundbox, a dynamic fintech company at the forefront of democratizing access to capital for small businesses. We are dedicated to building best-in-class user experiences that provide small business owners the capital they need to thrive. As a UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products and initiatives, ensuring they meet the highest... standards of usability, functionality, and visual appeal.

In this role, you will

• Collaborate closely with product, credit, front-end engineering, marketing, and operations stakeholders to align UX design efforts with business goals and user needs.
• Manage the end-to-end design process, from concept development to final implementation, ensuring seamless integration across all product touchpoints.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions and iterate on the customer experience.
• Help develop and promote UX design best practices and consistency across the organization
• Educate and mentor team members on the importance of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

The ideal candidate will
Be passionate about user experience design and working with a fast paced, collaborative team. You will prefer to work in an environment that has emphasis on the ownership of initiatives, collaboration, learning, curiosity and a drive to continually improve oneself, the team, and the organization. You will also love to problem solve, get hands-on, experiment, measure, and use creative design thinking to help build innovative products for SMBs.
We are driven by performance with a mindset of continuous improvement rooted in testing and learning to optimize our results.
You should have
• At least 3-4 years of proven experience as a UX Designer, preferably within the fintech or financial services industry.
• Proficiency in design software (primarily Figma)
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX design projects with a focus on desktop and mobile applications.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Design or other relevant field.
Note: Our interview process will require sharing a portfolio of your UX design work, and may include a short assignment based on an example product intent.
