The VISTA shall create and design administrative strategies to guarantee community participation in activities organized by the G-8 Inc. Such activities are focused on eradicating poverty through the dissemination of knowledge about the project, its achievements, and goals, and establishing new procedures to follow up on current agreements.
Member Duties : Guarantee through the creation and training of a committee that all agreements made for the development of the Museo del Caño Martín Peña are carried out in accordance with the will of the community leadership and design a training strategy for potential collaborators. The AmeriCorps VISTA member will support through: 1.Identify the status of the planning of the initiative. Establish guidelines so that the community can coordinate and facilitate a committee that guarantees participatory processes. 2.Create a list of agreements established on pending work, such as the rehabilitation of the space, and design a protocol so that the committee can follow up. 3.Train the committee so that they can organize the inauguration and design of the space scheduling proposal. 4.Identify and create a list of potential collaborators.
