GAEAT is seeking a dynamic and driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand our merchant network within your designated zone. As a pivotal member of our sales team, you will be responsible for onboarding restaurants and liquor stores onto our platform, ensuring a diverse and vibrant offering for our customers. You will manage a team of Field Sales Executives, driving performance to meet and exceed weekly targets and contributing to GAEAT's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Field Sales Executives within your designated zone (Either: Nairobi, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, or Mombasa).
- Set clear targets and expectations, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to onboard new restaurants and liquor stores to the GAEAT platform.
- Conduct market research to identify potential merchants and understand competitive dynamics within the designated zone.
- Drive achievement of weekly onboarding targets to ensure consistent growth of GAEAT’s merchant base.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with restaurant and liquor store owners and managers.
- Understand merchant needs and provide exceptional customer service to enhance merchant satisfaction and retention.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager and other Regional Sales Managers to share insights and best practices.
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports and forecasts to senior management, detailing progress towards achieving objectives and opportunities for improvement.
- Market Insights and Development:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitive offerings to continuously improve sales strategies.
- Provide feedback on app features, user experience, and merchant needs to drive platform enhancements and innovations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in sales management, ideally within the food delivery or e-commerce industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive a sales team to success.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with the designated zone’s market, culture, and business environment is a significant advantage.
