So, even if you feel that you’re close but not an exact match, we encourage you to apply.How You'll Make An ImpactAn internally focused role, incumbent(s) applies knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, principles of finance and business to problems in life, health, social, casualty insurance, annuities, and pensions, under close supervision. Specializes in one type of insurance (Life/Health or Property/Casualty). Determines mortality, accident, sickness, disability, and retirement rates. Constructs probability tables regarding fire, natural disasters, and unemployment, based on analysis of statistical data and other pertinent information. Designs or reviews insurance and pension plans, and calculates premiums. Ascertains premium rates required and cash reserves, and liabilities necessary to ensure payment of future benefits.
