As a Hasbro intern/ co-op you will work in all aspects of our development process including ideation, proof of concept, design specs, costing and pre-production review. You will also have the opportunity to participate in our cross functional concept debut presentations.
Major responsibilities:

Concepting of new games

Play testing games in development

Basic model making/sample creation

Game play design: strategy and mechanics

Brainstorming of fresh ideas

Illustration and creating concept visuals

Use internal resources and time management skills to independently run projects to meet deadlines

Build confidence and knowledge when interacting with internal / external partners and presenting design solutions

Candidate will collaborate with various departments such as Global Marketing, Global Engineering and Global Consumer Insights.

Candidate will interact with design and development staff, graphics, branding and packaging designers, model makers and other artists.
What you'll bring:

Candidate must for show a passion for gaming, with an understanding of game design and product design. (Playing light strategy games for a hobby a plus).

Desired software includes Photoshop & Illustrator (Solid Works, InDesign, Maya, zBrush are a plus).

Desired skills include but aren’t limited to: Game design, Illustration, knowledge of usability testing, Critical thinking, experiential design, sketching, rendering, along with traditional model making skills.

Desired areas of study include: Game Design, Industrial Design, Toy Design, Concept Art, Illustration, Animation.

Candidates must submit an online portfolio to be considered for Hasbro’s Intern program.

Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at college/ university.
