The position:
We are looking for a Paid Media Contractor to join our marketing team. You will work with the Director of Growth Marketing on the planning, execution, optimization, and analysis of paid media marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition and other high-value actions. You will play a key role in achieving business objectives by maximizing the effectiveness and ROI of paid advertising initiatives.
Note: This is a 6 month contract opportunity. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $55 to $65 an hour.
What you’ll do:
Implement comprehensive paid marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives, target audiences, and market trends.
Set up and manage campaigns across paid social, SEM, ASO, programmatic, and affiliate channels.
Utilize audience segmentation and targeting capabilities to reach relevant users with tailored messaging. Test different audience segments and targeting to optimize campaign effectiveness.
With direction from the Director of Growth Marketing, manage the paid marketing budget effectively, allocating resources across campaigns and channels to maximize ROI. Monitor spending, adjust budgets as needed, and ensure adherence to financial targets and OKRs.
Identify key opportunities and channels for investment based on audience insights and competitive analysis.
Collaborate with internal creative teams to develop high-quality ad creatives (copy, imagery, videos) that resonate with the target audience and align with brand guidelines. Conduct A/B testing and creative optimization to identify top-performing assets.
Collaborate with product marketing managers on testing strategy, execution, and analysis.
Collaborate with data team to analyze performance and identify areas of strength and weakness in paid media strategy.
Who you are:
3+ years of experience in managing paid media campaigns, including paid social and SEM.
[Preferred] Experience in managing programmatic, affiliate, and ASO campaigns.
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding campaign KPIs.
Analytical - comfortable digging into results and able to uncover valuable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams and organizations.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Change-ready - you understand that things constantly evolve and can flawlessly adapt and excel within a hyper-growth environment.
[Preferred] Experience working in a start-up to scale environment OR a digital marketing agency.
[Preferred] Experience working on a mobile app product and well-versed in mobile marketing analytics and attribution platforms like AppsFlyer.
[Preferred] Casual or better interest in sports, particularly baseball and softball.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field.
