The Position:
GameChanger's Revenue Growth Team is responsible for increasing subscription rates through A/B testing, building new subscription purchase flows, and iterating quickly to determine what features are most valuable to users of GameChanger. The Revenue Growth Team is responsible for the entire experimentation platform as well as subscriptions, pricing, and packaging. As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you’ll use modern tools to develop features on the web. You will build engaging user-facing features by contributing your expertise, writing code, and making architectural decisions on a team of Product Managers, Designers, QA Analysts, and Engineers. You will report to one of our Engineering Managers.
What You'll Do:
Help to set the long term vision for our subscription purchase flow on the web.
Implement and iterate on A/B tests aimed at improving subscription rates and higher plan adoption.
Build new features within our web platform to create parity with apps.
Collaborate with peers on critical decisions about how our applications are architected and built.
Team up with designers, QA, and product managers to find the best solutions for our customers.
Teach and learn with engineers across the company.
Promote responsible engineering practices as well as best practices for frontend development.
Who You Are:
Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
Track record of successful projects utilizing JavaScript or Typescript, React experience is a plus.
Familiarity with Node.js or other backend technologies is also a bonus.
Experience shipping beautiful, high-quality websites.
Comfort working in a multi-disciplined product team.
Outstanding problem-solving skills.
Experience mentoring engineers.
Experience:
Our web app client is a React and Redux application written in TypeScript and our backend APIs are built with TypeScript, Node.js, Redis, and PostgreSQL and run in AWS.
5+ years in a software development role.
5+ years working with Typescript or Javascript in a frontend role.
2+ years experience leading and implementing complex designs.
Experience with React is preferred.
Experience with a system deployed in an AWS environment is preferred.

The target salary range for this position is between $160,000 and $200,000. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.
