As a Database Engineer within our organization, you will play an integral role in ensuring the reliability, resilience, and efficiency of our database infrastructure. Responsibilities

    • Construct and uphold database systems characterized by superior availability and quality, tailored to the specific requirements of individual applications.
    • Devise and execute database designs in alignment with the information needs and different perspectives
    • Define user profiles and facilitate the dissemination of data to the appropriate recipients in a suitable format and with promptness.
    • Configure diverse database replication strategies to ensure seamless data synchronization.
    • Utilize high-speed transaction recovery methods and proficiently manage data backups.
    • Efficiently mitigate database downtime while optimizing parameters for swift query response times.
    • Facilitate the transfer of knowledge within the team to foster collective expertise.
    • Provide proactive and reactive support for data management, ensuring data security, privacy, and integrity.
    • Establish, enforce, and meticulously document database policies, procedures, and standards.
    • Regularly conduct tests and evaluations to safeguard data security and maintain data integrity.
    • Vigilantly monitor database performance, implement necessary modifications, and apply updates and patches as required.
    • Stay well-informed about emerging database technologies.
    • Generate on-demand reports as requested by business users.
    • Offer 24x7 support for critical production systems, participating in an on-call rotation schedule when necessary.

    • A minimum of three years of experience in the field, with a preference for experience in organizations operating within industries such as i-gaming or e-commerce.
    • Proficiency in MySQL open-source database technologies is essential. Familiarity with other relational database management systems (RDBMSs) like Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL is considered advantageous.
    • Hands-on experience working with database standards and managing latency-sensitive user applications.
    • Excellent expertise in data backup, recovery, security, data integrity, and SQL.
    • Competence in database design, documentation, and coding practices.
    • Prior exposure to Database Administrator case tools, both frontend and backend, as well as familiarity with third-party database tools.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues effectively.
